Aimee began practicing yoga after a car accident left her in an intense state of physical suffering. She attended Hatha and Restorative classes regularly attempting to heal her body, and quickly realized the benefits of silencing her mind. It took a decade of leaving and returning to her mat for physical or mental healing before she fully dedicated herself to the daily practice of yoga. Since then, Aimee has completed her 200-RYT and prenatal certifications.
Aimee extends the same love she found through yoga to her students. She offers variations and modifications, and encourages her students to do what feels best for their bodies. When Aimee is not teaching or practicing yoga, you can find her walking her two children (dogs) or curled up with the book, “Eastern Body, Western Mind,” for her fourth attempt at reading it all the way through.
